What’s up, guys? Steve Arnold here with Best Life Global, and today, I wanna talk to you about mindset, and I’m specifically talking to you business owners out there. If you have had some struggle in your business and you’re not achieving your financial goals with your business, and
you think that there’s some strategy out there that you need or some missing piece of information out there that you need, you might want to rethink that, and instead, start thinking about your mindset.

Now, I wanna start off by defining what I mean by mindset. What I’m talking about here is this series of beliefs that you’ve generated or have been generated within you over a period of time. A lot of them were installed in childhood, and a lot of them, you just kinda picked up over time by being around different people, and thinking different thoughts, and experiencing the world however you happen to have experienced it in the past.

Now, we’re talking about the future now, and how you actually want to behave in the future and to behave in a manner that’s more likely to create success in your business and success in your life.

Now, the first thing I wanna talk about is that beliefs are not necessarily congruent with reality. Now, maybe it’s like you’re going to start a business and you start thinking oh, you know, I would start a business, but I think I’m too old to start a business, you know? Most people start businesses when they’re young, or maybe you’re young and you’re like well, maybe I’m not experienced enough. Maybe I’m just not old enough, and people will see me as being some youthful kid, and so I can’t start a business, but the truth is, plenty of people have started businesses when they’ve been old. Plenty of people have started businesses when they’ve been young, and your beliefs about that don’t necessarily fit reality, and that’s the point that I
really want to get across.

Okay, so, if you think that there may be some beliefs that are holding you back, how do you actually change that? How do change your mindset to put you in a more, put you on a better trajectory towards success?

Alright, so the first step is to write down a goal. Think about something that you wanna have in the future, or think about the person that you want to become in the future, and then, the second step is to go down and write down the beliefs that you think could be limiting and that could actually be holding you back. So, after you do that, you need to go out and create empowering beliefs, so go through the limiting beliefs one by one, and create a contrasting, empowering belief that will put you on that trajectory towards success.

Okay, now, the next step is to immerse yourself in that belief, either through visualization or through self-talk and affirmations, and what I like to do is I like to actually set aside time during the day to actually focus on these things, so I’ll close my eyes. I’ll get in a comfortable position, I’ll take a few deep breaths, and then I’ll focus on just repeating these things over to myself. I’ll do some in first person, some in third person, and then I’ll just continue to repeat it, repeat it, and visualize it, and visualize myself doing these things that I didn’t previously believe that I could do, and it’s not like I finish my session and I’m like ah, you know? It’s like it’s amazing, and I’m totally changed.

It takes time, but if you do it consistently for even 20 minutes a day, over time, your beliefs will start to change, and it’s really pretty awesome, once it does, and you’ll know that the belief has been installed when you start acting in a way that it’s in accordance with those beliefs without even trying to without even thinking about it.

Hope this was helpful, thank you.
